Demei is the largest denomination of Praianism, with 1.3-4 billion ordinated disciples worldwide as of 2053. It is among one of the world’s oldest and largest institutions and has played a major role in the history and development of the Eastern world. The church is led by the Supreme Pavali, who appoints Lesser Pavalis and Clerical Administrators to oversee Pavaliships and Clericies, which are organizational subdivisions of the church.
