The Hosse-Maximillian Petrochemical Corporation, often shortened to HOSMAX or HMPC, is a semi-private corporation in the Rosen Commonwealth that specializes in the extraction and refinement of crude oil and natural gas. HOSMAX is one of the largest private corporations in the Rosen Commonwealth and is its highest-valued when accounting for its autonomous subsidiaries. HOSMAX is overseen by the Commonwealth Oil Agency, which effectively maintains a government monopoly on oil extraction, refinement, and transportation. The company became well-known after the Nuclear Crisis, as HOSMAX tankers were a central target of harassment from ICOSGEA forces in the weeks leading up to the war.
